- Buzz Brandeis is a World War 2 veteran and wonders in Southern California. He was born in Chicago in 1919 and was Heavyweight Boxing Champion of Rhodes Ave. between 61st and 62nd street when he was 10 years old, weighed 75 lbs. and was called Jawbreaker. He fought 7 Round Lieber, weighing in at 100 lbs., for the championship and defeated him in the 8th round when Lieber started crying. Jawbreaker retired undefeated.
